„Our head is round so that thinking can change direction“, a sentence by the writer and artist Francis Picabia, who inspired me as a young man interested in art and the art. Art broadened my perspectives and saved my soul. I do not consider myself a photographer, but an artist, a photo poet, a photographic artist.

My poetry is often the unraveling of my deepest thoughts. I find ordering them into poetry can give me clarity. I might also include the occasional short story. Sometimes, it is raw and transparent. Other times, it may be a way for me to release some destructive thinking with sarcasm. However, all of it is me.

Making use of pareidolia to identify the form to be brought to light is often a way to avoid incurring the inconveniences caused by self awareness, relying instead on that primary memory for purposes not dissimilar from the original ones, aimed at distinguishing predators or hidden prey in the surrounding environment.
The intent is to produce a narrative that draws directly from the indefinite share of imagination present in every head, which can take place in any language and easily complete in the same eye, and be understandable to the extent that everyone decides.

My favorite motto is, “The burn of the uphill is better than the thrill of the downhill.” But isn't that what any cyclist would tell you?

Adversity clearly comes in a multitude of packages. Once I’ve signed for the parcel, that UPS delivered, I am committed to ownership. Like Pandora, I cut through the tape to find an unwanted bugaboo and wonder why anyone would send a gift of distress. Suddenly I remember that only two days earlier I had ordered a maelstrom. Now that I’ve opened the box, it is up to me to deal with the turbulence. So many people close their eyes and curse the rampaging tornado when they might choose instead to open a window and shoo it out. Every negative thought becomes attached elsewhere so that the person need take no blame. This is the start of wars and everything else th
