350/365: Chicken, Mesh
I never looked at chickens from up close. They're oddly interesting and fascinating and slightly creepy. Just look at those hair-feather things. And the flaps of skin. It's all really alien, once we take a step back and actually look at it...
Just "two more weeks" (15 more images more like) until the end of the #project365 that ends up taking quite a bit longer than a year. I think I'll make a little post mortem post about it. I'm very happy about the amount of feedback I get from it, and it has helped me find closer to my photographic vision, whatever that may be - I definitely haven't arrived yet. Having so many people watch my every image puts up some pressure to find really good ones, too, and finding something substantial to shoot every day has proven impossible for me.
What's certain is that I'll continue posting images after the end of the project, probably in about the same rhythm of 2-4 images per week that the "daily" photographs ended up arriving in. In fact, I'll probably be happy about losing the number in front - it doesn't really mean much any more anyway
I do plan to spend some time finding and refining printing technique and maybe exhibit and/or sell a couple of my images during the next year. But at this point, nothing about that is certain.
