This image takes some patience and study. Take a moment to look at all of the elements. My friends and I drove down this Central South Dakota road towards the tornado at the end of it. If you look really close, there are two! (I love the big images @ello). We stopped so I could take this image to get the overall picture. We were standing under the inflow band, feeding the supercell ahead. The whole storm was rather new, but already very large and rapidly rotating from 40k feet and down. We were alone taking in the beautiful light and the hearing only the distant thunder from the storm. I hope you enjoy this image. Sorry to make you stop and really have a look!
