Beer Diary: Lobo Negro (Pedernales Brewing Company)
This is a relatively straightforward and accessible brew; it's caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts up front, with a little tang on the end like sassafras or root beer. The mouthfeel, carbonation, and other elements are as well-constructed and balanced as the taste. I cringe at using a term like "drinkability," but that's exactly what Lobo Negro has got. Definitely worth snagging a six pack of these.
