Despite a milder mouthfeel and ABV than most stouts, I'm finding myself really enjoying this brew. Lots of coffee, roasted malts, and dark chocolates upfront, which fade into a pleasant, creamy vanilla at the finish. Brewing with vanilla beans instead of extract really does make a difference. Being an extremely tasty, but less overwhelming, stout, I feel like this makes for an excellent choice for introducing people to craft beer. And, even for those of us well versed in artisan brews, this is a highly enjoyable stout.
