Beer Diary: Land Of Milk And Honey (903 Brewers)
Huh...I'm not quite sure about this one. A very light bodied stout, the main flavors here are honey and malted milk, with faint caramel and coffee notes. It's not bad or unpleasant, more like it just misses the mark. Maybe it's the dueling lactose sugar from the milk vs the fructose/glucose sugar from the honey (if you're a science or food dork and know about the sugar difference, please enlighten me, I'd like to know)? Worth checking out; I'd drink it again and may even pick up another sixer to see if to grows on me.
