I'm willing to bet that IPA aficionados despise this beer; there's no overwhelming hop bitterness, the abv is at a reasonable 5.5%, and you can snag a bomber for like $3.50 from Trader Joe's. Anyhow, this starts off with ripe pineapple & undertones of citrus, which fades into pale malts, and finishes with dry, floral hops. Everything about this beer is subtle and well balanced, yet entirely accessible to the laymen imbiber. My only complaint about Tintinnabulation is the mouthfeel, it's just a bit too watery. Even so, I'll still be snagging a few more bottles of this in the near future. This wont be the best IPA you've had, but it's sure as hell the best one you had for under $5.
