The highlight of last night's Christmas Eve dinner was when my elderly mother asked us why Darth Vader had become a Christmas decoration. After some questioning, we realized that, due to her failing eyesight, she was mistaking the African Magi of the Three Wise Men in a neighbor's Nativity scene with Darth Vader. She seemed pleasantly amused to learn that it was Balthazar of Arabia who was giving baby Jesus myrrh instead of Vader.
