Despite being the middle of December, it's been in the upper 70s here the past few days, so I figured I'd take a break from the winter warmers and stouts with something more temperature appropriate. I've never had a gose style beer before, but the blood orange part sounded summery enough, so gave it a try. This starts out with some generic wheat and citrus notes, which are quickly overwhelmed by tart, brine, and lemon. That may not sound the most appealing, but it's actually a very tasty little beer. While I don't see myself having more than one or two of these over a session, I'll be picking up a sixer of this in the near future.
