An Open Letter To Aspiring Entertainers
The “shooting star” thing seems to be especially popular among entertainers, the “live fast, die young, leave a good corpse” thing, but I just don’t find glamour, glory, or humor in it at all. In fact, I find it to be an utter shame, a squandering of life & talent.
Such people’s lives are tragedies.
If you want to be an entertainer, there’s no shame in that, but don’t get ensnared in the lie that living dangerously is somehow a requirement for the job. Use wisdom, & keep the soul in your success.
