The Neumoegeni Swallowtail is only found in the tropical forests on the island of Sumba in Indonesia. Males fly year round along paths and in forest glades, while the females are found high in the forest canopy. Honrath first described the species in 1890. Because of their limited habitat in the wild they are listed as Vulnerable under the IUCN Red List.

All the species that I use are collected from sanctuaries across the US, who educate people about the importance of insects to our world, after they have passed away.
