Today's photo. Taken this morning actually. The rest of the day was a blur of activity until a few minutes ago.
You know those days when all of your obstacles just seem to clear themselves out of your way? I had one of those. Thank you, Universe! I needed that. I had an interview at a temp agency today. It went well. I'm hired! The account manager is confident I'll be really busy. Awesome! That will make things a lot easier. I can quit juggling money around every month and get on with my plans. Yay!
A bunch of other things that looked as though they'd be a big hassle worked themselves out. I mean, literally, I didn't have to do anything. Well, a phone call or two. But other than that, it was like having a red carpet with strewn with rose petals laid at my feet. I sashayed past all difficulties, waving graciously...or at least feeling incredibly grateful that all was taken care of for me. It made me feel safe and secure. Like everything is right with the world. (On a personal level, of course.)
Also, I heard back from my friend on Maui. The property owner is totally down with me organizing a camping retreat on her land. She even countered with a lower use fee than I'd
offered. See. Everything went really well!
Today was a great day. I'm always wary of saying something like that. Because I subconsciously believe that not every day can be great, so I don't want to jinx it. But then, of course every day can be a great day. It's not like there's a natural law that states I'm only allowed so many great days and now I've used one more. I'm going to get rid of that subconscious thought. I want to be surprised when it's not a great day. I'm going to start expecting great days. I'll let you know how it goes.
