Ugh. Throw-back to my days practicing law and trying to explain why what you don't want to hear is the thing you need to hear.
I'm working with a broker who I'm pretty sure has jumped from residential to commercial lending and has no clue what he's talking about. Keeps arguing all last week and this (and today) about documentation I'm asking for on a few loans.
You know when someone says your request (for which you've explained the reasoning several times) "stupid", they have no clue what the fuck they're doing.
Ever polite, I reply with infinite patience. And complain to all my banker friends who offer sympathy and understanding. They feel my pain.
Then I go to the park to sulk by the pond because I missed my scheduled ride today dealing with this dude.
Bonus, realized I know more about this business than I feared. So, there's that.
Going to try the atheist meeting tonight with M. I don't usually have Wednesdays free at that hour. Maybe that will be fun? Hope it's not a malcontented crowd. Had plenty of that today alredy.
