I had a really funny and profound (the best kind) meditation this morning. I wish I wasn't so sheerly exhausted, or I'd describe it. It involved amusement park rides and Fortnum and Mason (a department store in London).
The gist of it was a very good visual to show me how if I want to get out of bargain basement and head to the luxury goods section of Life, I need to make sure not to give my attention to all the things I don't want, lest they slow my journey. Eyes on the prize and keep your hands inside at all times.
Metaphors are helpful to me as I go about my day. They really stick with me and keep me in my lane. This was one of my more colorful ones. Truly delightful.
I'm soooo tired. I've been going to bed way too late considering my wake-up time. Here's to a good solid 6 hours of sleep tonight.
