From yesterday. Mr. Jones wasn't too sure about crazy giant bouncy ball. He kicked it once. Then ignored it for awhile, then started pushing it around with his nose. A really peaceful couple of hours at the barn, just chillaxing with the horses. I used to far prefer animals to people. That's not true at all anymore. I really like people, but I do need to spend a lot of time outside and away from others. You know how some people say the great outdoors makes them see how small and insignificant they are? I never feel that way. I find that interacting with the "natural" world makes me feel that I'm an important part of a vast network. I don't know my part exactly, but I see that everything is important. I fully expect and am pleased that figuring out how and why will give me something to ponder and act toward for the rest of my life.
