I've been thinking lately of how much fun it will be to wear the kind of clothes I like.
I like tailored clothes that have interest through detail and color/pattern. Fabrics like fine cotton, silk, wool and cashmere. And leather. Everyone needs a leather skirt. Durable and can be dressed up or down.
No linen though. Anyone who's experienced the misery of putting on a crisp linen dress, only to have it wrinkle the first time you sit down, knows what I'm talking about.
I've always loved the feel of high-quality clothing. I'm excited to have my old shape back, and money to afford those things. If I think about manifesting things, rather than experiences (I think a lot about those too) It's things like that. My tastes are expensive, but also thrifty, as well-made classic clothing lasts a long time, and I don't care about labels. I would never buy something just because a certain designer made it. The upcharges offend me. But only in a mild, "You can do what you want, but there's no way I'm spending $6k on a dress." kind of way.
It's taken forever to acknowledge I want those things back in my life. Because they're pretty, and feel amazing on my skin. I like them. And it's okay to like nice things. And I can have them.
