Tonight's sunset. Well, it was around that time. I closed up the barn for the night. I always love how cozy it feels. That back wall is actually a sliding door. The barn is twice as long as it appears here. It still feels cozy even with the middle door open. The horses make it feel that way.
Today, I finally started creating my website for the equine experiential learning program. I also called into a radio show that I listen to weekly on Hay House. A well-known intuitive and medium, Colette Baron-Reid. I use one of her tarot card decks a lot. The cards are amazingly accurate. Anyway, I surprisingly got through, and even more surprisingly, she picked me as one of the people to get a reading. Yay! The Universe does love me. Both she and her guest had some helpful advice. I know what you're thinking. Don't judge me!
There. I guess I get a little defensive. I'll write a long post sometime about my thoughts on the subject. I believe there's something to all that, though interpretations as to what exactly is going on vary widely. To each his own, as long as you're not blindly doing what someone else tells you. I extend that warning to all life situations. The advice was right in line with what I'd already decided, with a little more clarity. Basically, follow your passion, but be open to how, and what form it takes. Stay flexible. I get that.
So, that was fun. It's right up my alley. I love stuff like that. I could never afford a private reading with her. She's really expensive with a super long wait list. If she even does them anymore. So very cool to get one for free, however brief! (About 5 minutes, maybe a bit longer.)
So that was my excitement for the day. I noticed that when I spent the day focusing on what I can do now to get started, and details about how to go about it, etc, I had a lot more energy than when I took my focus away. It feels like the right path. I'm going to keep walking down it and see what happens. Now, I just need a name. Hopefully one will show up in a dream or something. What a great story that would be!
