Colds are so unpleasant. But it could be worse. Today, M came over and helped (actually, she did most of the work) the kids make and decorate Christmas cookies. Her cookies are beautiful, of course. (She's an artist.) It's always a great day when she's free to hang out.
Haven't heard about the job. They said they'd know yesterday, but giving background checks, etc., I imagine it would take a few days. Either way, I'll know if they announce a new leasing agent who isn't me! As much as I would like this job, I'd be fine not working weekends. So I'll just continue my networking and see what shows up if I don't get it. In fact, I have a lunch set up for next Monday.
I was the speaker at the Sunday night meeting. Yep. Pretty boring. I forgot to look at the clock, so spent way too much time on "how it was." Next time, I'll truncate that severely and fast forward to how I got sober (finally) and what it's like now. It's a process.
I ran across this article that actually left me at a loss for words. Here's a quote:
"The lingam massage focuses on clearing energy, blockages and promoting healing, and the pleasure that is gained from it is purely a side effect of the massage.
Although the aim of the massage is not to achieve an orgasm, it is very common for a man to become highly aroused resulting in an orgasmic climax. The intense sexual pleasure will be felt throughout the whole body, not just around the genitals. "
Yep. I bet it is relaxing and rejuvenating. Sex will do that to you.
Him: "Hey, Babe, sorry, I'm going to be late. I have my weekly lingam massage tonight, and you know how much I need it to manage my stress."
Me: "Hell no you don't."
Now we know I'm not the "cool girlfriend."
Though, I would like to administer it sometime. Someone with access to a lingam try it out and report back to me, please.
