We went to see Disney on Ice: Frozen this week and for my wife and I what stood out was not the skating. The skating was cool and all, and my son liked it, but what is still ringing in my ears in the absolute freedom of the little kids singing along. Specifically the little girls in the audience. Harper is only a year and a half so I haven't really started to see the outline of a young girl. Hearing those little ladies in their princess dresses belting out LET IT GOOOOOOOO made me think twice about what it is going to mean to be the Daddy to a woman. I hope and pray I am able to help her guard her heart until she is ready to risk it. I hope I can help her feel powerful. I hope I can emulate the type of man I hope she marries one day.
