I often dream about alternate personal realities.
If I had pursued Art School directly after High School, rather than waiting a few years to pick my direction, perhaps I'd already be further along in my career.
If my wife(Kitty) and I had started dating sooner, we'd have been married at 22 rather than 27, and have 7 year olds rather then 2 year olds. (and an empty house by the time we're 40, not 50.)
If I had focused on language in High School and College, I'd be doing 3D in Germany or Japan.
Anyways, I often retcon my own life to support a desired future. But what about the present?
Today I received an email from a Career Advice site, kathycaprino.com, that asked "What would you do in 2015 if you knew that you couldn't fail?"
So... if I study physics this year, perhaps I could get into a School for a Bachelors in Science. If I get Rosetta Stone and learn German, I could move over there and work at our Munich office. If I do Tai-Chi and workout 5 days a week, I'll be in much better physical condition.
What led you down the path your on is only important inso much as it influences you. Pick a direction and move.
