Throwback Thursday! The "Ocean Wave" was brought to Oshawa by the owner of a restaurant located on the south side of King Street West, just west of the Lancaster Hotel. It was behind Jack O'Leary's Restaurant, until he moved it to the lake, in front of Barnhart's Pavilion on the beach, where he had a summer refreshment stand east of the pavilion. It later came into the possession of Mr. W. H. Barnhart.
