rubber boots / watercolour / 1980's / joan bray (my mother)
my mother has been painting since she was a young person - she grew up in northern England and went to art college in Southport. She has made a resepectable career out of painting (and modelling - locally) and the last time I was visiting I took a lot of photos of some of the work she managed to keep photos of....so yeah, photos of photos of paintings. Her main "thing" is water colour, and she loves geraniums, but she also paints on silk, china, she paints with acrylic and oil, she has been commissioned to paint peoples homes, businesses and pets and children. If she taught me anything, it's to not limit yourself to one thing, branch out, try everything.
