Composed by Milieu.
"Commissioned music for Sebastian Gansrigler's short film WOLFGANG SCHÖN: DER LETZTE KUPFERDRUCKER, a documentary about Europe's last copper printer in Vienna, Austria. With a subject so inherently melancholic, the music assumes a position of submission, ebbing out subtle movements over the course of an hour. It is improvised electric guitar music from the perspective of loss, mournfully missing someone. Within the Milieu canon, Kupferdrucker lies somewhere between the melodic drone pastures of Leaves Painted Purple and the ambient blues of Empty Roads. Gansrigler's film is a much less elaborate affair at six minutes long, yet upon viewing one understands just how much those six minutes can say. There are little universes inside the shadows of Schön's quiet workshop, spaces that are perhaps inhabited by emotive vessels such as these."
