I was born and raised in a pre-democratic South Africa in 1993, four months before the end of Apartheid. I gained my BA Honours degree in Visual Communication & Interaction Design and am currently pursuing my MA in digital arts.
In my latest work I have been exploring identity and what it means to be a white African. My illustrations reflects my fears and sense of self reflection in trying to find my point of view as a proudly African designer and illustrator. I would describe my style as a moody textured vector approach.
