Badass, one-of-a-kind hand molded toys by @huckgee, handmade in San Francisco.
Huck and I met in 2002 the first day that I opened my first Kidrobot store on Haight-Ashbury. I'd just finished cleaning the cases and unlocked the door, and this giant guy with a shaved head and a big tattoo on his neck came running in and said something like, "I can't believe you're finally open!" He looked something between your nightmare scary nightclub bouncier, a special forces commando, and a Buddha.
Huck spent $250 on a bunch of limited edition toys, smiled a giant Huck smile, and ran out. At that moment I knew the Kidrobot would probably work out.
We became friends later on. I didn't realize that Huck was a brilliant illustrator, and would eventually become one of the most collected toy and character artists in the art toy scene.
