This NFT is from the collection "Semi Pseudorandom Grids” by the_artmachine. It is a colourful grid created using algorithms based on a mix of pseudorandomness and human aesthetic control.
There are 128 different pieces in this collection that are all sold in an edition of 1.
We were exploring how much power we wanted the pseudorandomness to have, versus how much we were controlling the actual creative decisions. These creative decisions determined both the colour selections and “the slicing” of the grids.
In the end, we found a mix that was both surprising and pleasing to the human eye.
