The Tokyo show at duo was the biggest venue so far and packed to capacity with many faces both old and new. Mr. Kobayashi from JBS even closed down his bar for a few hours to make a special appearance. Tommy did a bit of backstage noodling to get the ol’ fingers warmed up and then exchanged a few quick hellos with opening band Special Others Acoustic before he walked onstage.
From the sea of closed eyes and smiling faces it was apparent the crowd understood where Tommy was leading them as he moved through a sonic field of colors and textures.
東京公演が行われたduoは、これまでで最大の会場で、おなじみの顔もはじめましての人もいて大盛況でした。JBSの小林さんでさえ、数時間だけお店を閉じて特別に姿を見せてくれました。トミーはくたびれた指をウォームアップするために、楽屋で少しだけヌードリング。それから、オープニングを務めてくれたSpecial Others Acousticと挨拶を交わし、ステージに上がりました。
たくさんの人が瞳を閉じたり、微笑みを浮かべたりして聴き入っていました。多彩な色や質感を持つ音世界を進んでいくトミーが、オーディエンスをどこへ導こうとしていたのか、彼らにもちゃんと伝わっていたようです。
The night ended with Tommy spinning soul and funk 45’s and signing memorabilia for fans. The kind-hearted, soulful artist, Goma, also showed up to say a quick hello.

その後はソウルやファンクの7インチレコードを回し、ファンの思い出の品々にサインをして、この夜は終了。心優しいソウルフルなアーティスト、GOMAも挨拶しに来てくれました。
東京の夜は最高でした！
