I've just been over to the page of @jason_s where he's got a gif of a chap throwing his typewriter on the floor. It brought to mind an event that happened in Feb 2013 where I was in the middle of a 4 day manufacturing run, when I heard that our son had been knocked off his motorcycle and badly injured. I went to the hospital with my wife, then after he went into surgery around 10.30pm I went back to work and finished around 6.45am next morning. After an hours sleep I went back to the hospital, then into work to complete the final day of processing.
The product failed QC and I had to bin the lot.
The next batch was perfect, as have been all batches since, but that was one day where throwing a typewriter on the floor might have seemed reasonable.
