I am a Sao Paulo based artist into street art, asemic writing, mythic subconscious, geometric abstraction and good beats. firstname.lastname@example.org.
The relationship between geometry and the accidental can be seen as one between order and chaos, fragmentaion and rebuilding. It is these realtionships that underpin my work. In nature, growth structures are geometric; nature geometricizes to rebuild in each cycle. The process of fragmentaion of traditional narratives and their reincarnation as part of a hybrid culture has always been my artistic fascination as a inhabitant of two extremely diverse and globalised cities: London and Sao Paulo. Analogue photography, historic and alternative photographic processes, experimental bookbinding, visual sequencing and storytelling play an important role in my artistic practice. My photographic work balances between art and documentary photography and is mainly centered around finding human traces in urban landscapes.

I am a New York artist originally from Los Angeles. Collaging, to me, is the ultimate democratic and political art practice. It’s source material can be anything and everything available to the artist. Every choice the artist makes gives new meaning and context to the images being collaged. By exercising appropriation, an act usually limited to those with absolute power, I give meaning to the images around me instead of it being imposed on me, through the media and advertisement.

Tess Johnson (@tessjohnson)
Tess sees the world through a multi-colored lens. Nature, colors, shapes, light, layers, and fashion all lend a hand in where she finds most of her inspiration to create.
"I enjoy observing life in different ways and creating those things I see and feel through art. This is what makes me happy."
From collaging, paint, sewing, to set design, Tess loves to get her hands on anything she can. A recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago, Tess and her husband Connor Johnson are currently living in Los Angeles and looking forward to their future endeavors as artists and entrepreneurs.
