Pascal Valu (@pascal_valu_photoplastician)
Pascal Valu was born in Paris in 1965. He studied drama at the University Paris VIII. In 1985, he attended Brighton Polytechnic School of Arts & Design where he discovered photography. At first, photography was for Pascal a substitute for drawing and he dedicated himself fully as he travelled around Central Europe (Berlin, Leningrad, St. Petersburg, Prague, Budapest). In 1989, he was awarded the Ilford B&W Prize for his picture of the deserted Greek Embassy in Berlin, from his urban landscapes series. He graduated with Honors earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Expressive Arts. He then explored statuary and male nude with a clever mastery of light and space
