so here is the first blogging effort. un fortunately on an I phone 8 weeks old with a clicky screen. Bah!
I'm still getting used to Ello, and the idea of being one of only 3 million people here makes me feel both special and part of some quasi-revolution.
No sooner do I learn how to post pics I forget. And then a new feature comes along - which is cool by the way @budnitz. I've also decided that now I'm going to try and blog, on here.
@ello is edgy. It feels like writing in a newly opened moleskine diary. Gone is the plastic supermarket glossy magazine stocked with weight gaining and weight losing vacuous celebrities and hello to substance. It's hard not to get carried away and sound stuffy - and I don't mean to. But boy do I feel just a little smug.
I guess jokes aside, that the feeling I am experience of importance amongst a community of equally important people is very important for the founders of Ello. Because quality begets quality and that ultimately has a value that is intrinsic to itself which, amongst all the social noise stands for much more than only money - but community, cohesiveness, enjoyment and respect.
I think that will do for a first stab at a blog. Be well and invite wisely.
