Vasilisa Romanenko is a Connecticut-based illustrator, designer, and fine artist. She creates figurative paintings inspired by nature, mythology, fashion, and folk art. Vasilisa earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
I create paintings that explore the roots of feminine power, focusing on the intersection of spirit and the natural world. My objective is to depict the strength and fragility of nature through my images of powerful women, goddesses, good and evil woodland spirits, and the places that they inhabit.
