It's 1963 and I know what I want to be.
I want to be an electronics engineer
When I get my degree,
I'm gonna work in the aeronautics industry.
I'm also gonna learn to play guitar
And write all kinds of music,
I'm gonna sing my songs on Mars
On Venus, Saturn and on Earth when I get back.
I'm not that baby anymore
The one who wanted to be a detective or a spy last year
Or the one who previously wanted to be a fireman
Nor the same me who at thirteen was gonna study gynecology
But in my dream last night, I saved this beauty from a burning house
And I deduced that it was arson that had set the fire
I then proceeded to ensure her unborn baby was doing just fine
And after washing hands I played her an impromptu soothing tune with an inspired line
Just before embarking on a virgin flight to Mars
