In January I spent seven days in a transition camp in Croatia helping refugees with their struggle to survive. Besides the daily work in the camp, I made a few sketches during the quieter moments.
In most cases, I used acrylic based markers with a 15 mm wide tip.
“Jallah” means “Hurry up!” in Arabic. The security officers in the camp yelled this particular and engraving phrase when the refugees had to leave their place.
