The other day I had a look through my modest collection of sewing patterns to see what I wanted to sew next. I was really disappointed when I realised that I don't even like 90% of them! My collection has grown slowly over two years, made up mostly of magazine freebies, and there are hardly any that are the kind of patterns I'd buy.
Anyone else have this problem?
Recently, well since sewing two Megan Nielsen Kelly skirts, I realised that what I need in my wardrobe is more separates. I love my dresses, but they're not always the warmest and most practical choice. Thanks to some suggestions on Instagram and a half price sale on Simplicity patterns, I think I'm ready to do some serious sewing! I even bought a pattern for some summer basics for the girls (fingers crossed for sunshine) and a pj pattern for us all.
