Tears are quite beautiful if you think about it. I think they should be sweet and maybe a bit bitter and smooth like droplets from the moon’s rays. But they are salty like the sea. They sting and are wiped away furiously, dried. Some shed many, others shed few or none at all. Maybe I like to think they are pieces of us left behind but unlike hairs or skin they are filled with emotion. Sadness, happiness, frustration...emotions that are dropped on our clothes, our pillows, the ground and left behind, invisible, faded. Imagine if we could see these teardrops, left shimmering like liquid silver, and could touch and feel the emotions of the giver. Tears are quite beautiful if you think about it.
