I got a new camera last week, the Samsung NX1. I was dying to get out and use it freely, so I did a bit of local wandering. I was initially attracted to the old boat and shed in the backyard, but once I realized the house was also vacant, I decided I needed to investigate a tad more. I didn't go inside, but I peeked around and saw some interesting stuff.
More importantly though, I learned that this camera is even more amazing than I had anticipated. It's so light to carry, so fast to operate, and the shutter click is super smooth and practically silent. The first few shots I took I had to make sure the photos were actually taken because the shutter seemed too quiet to have actually clicked.
I think this winter will be a good season for me to explore my area more.
