Snapshot of a conceptual design for the loaded up screen on the app I've been building with 2 friends.
Random things I've learnt so far:
1. Fonts are horrid business. We started the font from scratch because the ones we downloaded off the net (license-free!) did not looks nice on the phone screens so much editing was in order. I was doing cutting, cropping of each letter and *^@$#s on PS for a few weeks in different colours in different sizes and sometimes they don't work out. So we had to redo them all. But do it once, do it well, get it out of the way and we are basically okay.
If you can't code it, you can't do it. Bouncing ideas, sometimes even very workable ideas or solutions may sound great on paper but if you can't code it, forget it. Which brings me to my next point.
I. NEED. TO. LEARN. MY. PROGRAMMIN'. LANGUAGES.
Thank you, paint.net, for being a simplified PS with none of that complicated BS. All you need is layering and colour picker, honestly.
I really wished I was doing this full-time. Maybe soon we will. Maybe soon, we should. cross fingers
