Sorry Isn't Good Enough
I'm sorry for the words I left unsaid,
And all the things I said wrong.
For the times I've bit my tongue,
For the times I didn't think.
I'm sorry for my empty face,
For standing there, watching.
For the words that couldn't escape,
For my hand for staying by my side.
I'm sorry for not being good enough,
And for me being just me.
For not letting so many see,
That there could be more to just me.
I'm sorry for understanding everything,
But not knowing how to act.
For writing a poem,
Instead of telling you myself.
