Power of women They said: “You are weak”, not realizing that our strength is in apparent weakness. We didn’t need war to get what we want. Once we learned to obey: fathers, husbands, spiritual mentors. And our men, reveling in power, themselves laid the whole world to our feet. We were the ones who stood behind the backs of the powers that be, great women: wives and mothers, sisters and girlfriends. But we’ve never beaten open backs. We were stronger than that. In any crises, in any difficult times, we endured, coped and moved on to our goals. Because we were nourished by true power. Power of Women. Girl Power!
