We await to find a new sunrise in site, a part of our life has been lost overnight.
Reaching an age where the memories are many, but disorganized and set in a hail of frenzy!
We recall with precision the memories abound, like cinema movies with full surround sound;
& although it's as if it were yesterday (we know) that the moments where seeing took place long ago.
All our friends at school have gone their own way, we haven't seen them for many years & a day.
But if you stay forever in the town you once knew, with thoughts in mind of those friends lives anew,
you will always see the places you went, when life was fun & good times were spent;
but it's because they look identical today as they did back then when you went to play.
For the time in our lives is fleeting & fast, the speed the days pass the years won't last.
The time in our lives is a mere grain of sand, which is lost forever once it slips through our hands...
