I am lost to a dark & forsaken land where a grim & uncertain fate stalks me mercilessly in the endless night & I am all but left abandoned, destined to perish by its savage jaws. When suddenly, as if from heaven I see you glowing brightly as a comforting light in the upper window of a secluded house in the distance, & you call to me, urging my continuation through the relentless danger & bravely on towards a resting sanctuary.
I am caught within a roaring ocean as fierce storms build colossal waves that threaten to crush me beneath their cruel & raging fury. Exhausted, defeated, my head barely above the water, I sense nothing but my own inescapable demise. When unexpectedly out of the emptiness a burning vision of you emerges from out of the gloom, like a lighthouse cutting deep through the torrential rain, guiding me home to a safe & solid ground.
I am concealed beneath the shade of a dense forest where high above me the creeping branches spread like miserly hands to suppress the sunlight's touch & I resign myself to remain forever in their shadow. But as I hope & pray in the enduring silence your presence soon honours me & swiftly dispels the penumbra like shards of light piercing through the cracks in the shroud, warming my heart with their embrace.
For you will always be the brightest light in my life, illuminating my most darkest evenings with a love beyond limit, a care without question & colouring my most dreariest mornings with an inspiring inner beauty that's beyond rival or equal. I know in my heart that even if my days grow somber & even should I become lost upon my troubled journey, your shining grace will always reach out to me, call to me; leading me back home into to your arms.
