2020, ooof, not a good year for my productivity. Where many found their inner artist, I lost something. There was this license to stop, stop everything. Nothing mattered anymore and we'd stock piled booze for months in advance. Everyone around me did. It wasn't a fear of the future or even of covid, but an excuse. Living in a relatively rural area in a later hit state had it's perks in the early months of the pandemic, but it ground on. Throw in the single worse hurricane we'd had since Ivan (On the anniversary of Ivan, none the fucking less) that lead to a six day blackout and there you have it, peak nihilism. We're still clearing up and trees are still strewn across the place.
Anyway, here's Crustaceous, from my "Safer Travels" line of work from October last year. Much of my work took a beating from the lack of climate control for nearly a week and 80% humidity, as well as most of our psyches, fuck. I can't even begin to explain the terror Sally caused.
