Tell me I'm not alone in this thinking. I feel like Halloween is the official kick-off to the holiday season. I mean, by the time Halloween is here it's it's officially Fall. The trees are doing their dynamic color change, you can't turn around without seeing pumpkin spice everything, and the weather is dramatically changing.
I feel like the reason Halloween is the fan favorite around the Four Core Holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) is that it's the last real moment that you can just let loose, have fun, and party hard without being judged.
Isn't it crazy how Halloween went from a child's event in over stimulating oneself on candy... into an adults event to overstimulate oneself on sex and drinks (adult candy).
However, there are some among us who still have the naive childhood love of Halloween inside of us. I call these people the purest. Not overindulging in drinking or the hypersexualization of the holiday. They actually put on horror looks designed to make their friends stay away from them the whole night.
Those are my favorite Halloween people.
Last week at the Girl Gang Meetup in Dallas, held at Burning Rose Studio, a number of the top women creative innovators in Dallas came together and created some badass looks for Halloween and Dias De Los Muertos (not even kinda the same as Halloween).
Every day until November 2nd I'm going to show you guys some amazing looks from the event.
