Xyarnés Ang (b.1993) is a visual artist born and based in Singapore. Her body of works is addresses the notion of temptation and its surrounding themes; overindulgence, suppression, release and deprivation. Influenced by personal experiences and her surroundings, she explores, depicts and questions the sources of temptation, whether it comes from within one or through the object of desire. Her works have been exhibited in 8Q@SAM, PHUNK, Kult and The National Library while others have also been featured in The Straits Times Life, CATALOG, ISSUE by The Substation and Matilda magazine.
