coerce a — 2018 — ink and acrylic on raw canvas — 51cm x 51cm / timber frames
Fascinated by the notion of nothing, ZAMI explores and expresses his ideas subconsciously using ink and acrylic on raw canvas. While his practice is systematically driven by geometry, he prefers his art to be seen as unconventional than abstract, and wants interpretation to play a key role in his work.
Similar to the rorschach test which analyses perception through images of symmetry. ZAMI's work is asymmetry, and is aimed to perceive from multiple angles within the mind. The art of ZAMI is to do nothing but create a sense of awareness for those who view his art.
