I went on vacation in June and I was lucky enough to try some highly respected bars over seas. One of the most enjoyable patterns I saw was cocktails being served with small snacks that paired with the cocktail’s flavors. I have a couple friends who work at Double Good and they challenged me to do something with one of their flavors. I came up with a bunch of crazy stuff, but my favorite one so far is simple and delicious.
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
0.25 Corn Silk 1:1 Demerara Syrup (or Regular 1:1 Demerara Syrup)
0.5 oz Brown Butter Washed Elijah Craig Bourbon (Recipe Below)
