It's a motto I use to bring myself back to the moment and to reconnect with the intrinsic beauty that is in everything. How we see things, and how we visually represent them, is a way to remind myself and other of that inherent beauty.
It is easy for me to fall into the trap of comparing myself and my work to others. Measuring the beauty of what I create against the scale of how I perceive others' artistic merit.
I find it much more fulfilling to create images which I find beautiful and inspiring than to play this game of comparison.
